2017, body stretching against stretch marks
Polyamide tights, epoxy resin, boots, gravel, copper

Wearing protective goggles, a respirator mask and white disposable gloves, I dip a pair of polyamide fine tights into the epoxy resin that I have previously carefully mixed. With my fingers, I squeeze out the excess resin over the container. As if I were putting on the tights myself, I gather them up to the toe and pull them over the boots, which I have previously filled with gravel. The tights are pulled up or apart until they can no longer stretch. The hardened resin increases the transparency and solidifies the polyamide fabric like a muscle. Lifeless, the „body wrappings“ stretched out in space appear. The human body is absent. These apparent shells become bodies themselves and take their place in space.
