Inishmore Airport – IOR/EIIM – Runway 14/32

Situated on the largest of Ireland’s Aran Islands in Galway Bay, Inishmore Airport – Aerfort Inis Mór IOR/EIIM serves as a vital transportation gateway connecting the island’s vibrant community to the Irish mainland. Positioned near the coastal edge with sweeping views of the Atlantic, the facility is owned and operated by the Department of Rural and Community Development. It features a single paved bitumen runway, 14/32, measuring 490 meters in length and 18 meters in width. Today, the aerodrome functions as a key regional link for islanders and visitors alike, with Aer Arann Islands operating daily scheduled flights to Connemara Airport onboard Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander aircraft against the backdrop of the rugged coastal landscape.
