Flugplatz Wangen-Lachen – LSPV – Runway 08/26

Located directly on the southern shore of Lake Zurich in the Canton of Schwyz, Wangen-Lachen is one of Switzerland’s most scenic airfields. Established in 1949 and surrounded by the Nuoler Ried nature reserve, it sits at an elevation of 408 meters. The airfield features a short, demanding asphalt runway, 08/26, measuring 500 meters in length and 18 meters in width. Unique to this location is its dual status as both a land airfield and Switzerland’s only official seaplane base (LSPW), making it a vital hub for diverse amphibious and private flight operations.
