Flugplatz Wangen-Lachen – LSPV – Runway 08/26

Located directly on the southern shore of Lake Zurich in the Canton of Schwyz, Flugplatz Wangen-Lachen LSPV is one of Switzerland’s most scenic airfields. Established in 1949 and surrounded by the Nuoler Ried nature reserve, it sits at an elevation of 408 meters. The airfield features a short, demanding asphalt runway, 08/26, measuring 500 meters in length and 18 meters in width. Unique to this location is its dual status as both a land airfield and Switzerland’s only official seaplane base (LSPW), making it a vital hub for diverse amphibious and private flight operations.
