Emmen Air Base – EML/LSME – Runway 04/22

Located in the heart of Switzerland near Lucerne, the Emmen Military Airfield serves as a pivotal hub for the Swiss Air Force. This tactical installation is primarily used for pilot training, flight testing, and maintenance activities by RUAG. The site is characterized by its single concrete runway, designated 04/22, which measures 2,500 meters in length and 40 meters in width. Situated at an elevation of 426 meters, Emmen remains a cornerstone of Swiss aerial defense, frequently hosting the Patrouille Suisse and various jet operations.
