Buochs Airport – BXO/LSZC – Runway 06/24

Nestled in the Canton of Nidwalden at an elevation of 449 meters, Buochs Airport is a unique hybrid of a regional civil airfield and a Swiss Air Force „sleeping base.“ It is globally recognized as the home and factory airfield of Pilatus Aircraft, where PC-12 and PC-24 begins its journey. The facility features a primary asphalt runway, 06/24, stretching 2,000 meters in length and 40 meters in width. A parallel redundancy runway, often used for taxiing or specialized operations, complements the main strip, all framed by the steep slopes of the Bürgenstock and the Stanserhorn.
